Join Shoot the Light host, Joe Subolefsky for this intimate workshop.
Enjoy coastal North Carolina for an excellent photographic opportunity at the most concentrated black bear population on the planet. The mild climate allows the bears to feed year round and grow to their full potential of 700 or 800 pounds. There is even a 900 pound bear on record! Right now, those massive males are on the move, searching out and breeding with females. Additional females are bringing out their cubs to feed in the crop fields, giving us a multiple opportunities per session to capture the essence of the black bear. Numerous sightings and the small group setting give you the perfect chance to fine tune your photography skills. Bonus animals on this adventure include the very elusive, critically threatened Red Wolves, coyotes, birds and various reptiles.
