Embark on an adventurous fifteen-day expedition to capture Brazil’s most famous creatures, big and small. Enjoy diverse bird life, mammals and scenery in Brazil’s Pantanal, the largest wetland on the planet. The main star of this workshop will be the Pantanal Jaguar, the third largest cat in the world! Pantanal Jaguars are double the size of Amazonian Jaguars. Five days on the river and its interconnected waterways will give us ample opportunities to capture this beast. As we cruise these waterways each participant will have his/her own row in the boat to enable everyone to shoot comfortably from each side of the boat and have plenty of room for gear. We are certain to encounter and photograph the area’s famous Giant River Otters, Capybaras, Caimans, Tapirs, various bird species and more!
Additional Highlights:
This amazing experience will include time at the Blue and Gold Macaw nest trees and the Sink Hole of the Macaws to give us plenty of prospects to capture these stunning birds.
Two evening sessions photographing elusive Ocelots are included in this wild adventure.
A species that’s worthy of a trip alone, the Giant Anteater, the world’s largest anteater, will be our primary focus for two days.
We will stay at lodges with the amenities of home and travel with English-speaking local guides as you embark on an adventure like no other.
