AK ;
Lake Clark NP is a relatively new park with untapped potential for
professional and amateur photographers alike. The idyllic salt water
bays and grassy meadows of its coastline harbor some of Alaska's most
fascinating wildlife. Bears are abundant and the salmon should be
running. Our hosts are spectacular. Sept 20-27 -The Spirit Bears of the Great Bear Rainforest, BC; '08 was so amazing and productive I have choosen to do this workshops again. Using our exquisitely maintained71 ft sailing vessel as a base we explore salmon creeks and rivers in Coastal BC to photograph the Spirit Bear and the Coastal Grizzly Bear. The photographic opportunities are amazing, and should include Spirit Bears, black bears, grizzly and possibly wolves. This trip will give you access to some of the best bear viewing locations in the world! The fall is a time of plenty and marine mammals such as the humpback whale are a common sight.
